When Paul Fraser Collectibles decided to bring their decades of expertise in rare stamps, coins, and memorabilia into a new era of online engagement, they launched JC Auctions — a bespoke auction platform designed to give collectors a trusted and transparent way to buy and sell high-value items.

Although the company had long been established as a respected name in the collectibles market, the October 2025 auction marked an entirely new chapter: the company’s first large-scale LIVE Auction, powered by iRostrum’s next-generation white-label technology.

Building confidence in a first-time LIVE Auction team

The JC Auctions team entered the project with ambition and urgency. Having inherited a valuable collection of assets and a strong client base, they needed a platform that could handle hundreds of lots, manage high-value transactions securely, and maintain brand credibility with seasoned collectors.

Their inaugural event featured more than 730 lots, delivered through a dynamic format that combined a timed sale with a live-streamed finale — an ambitious debut that set a new benchmark for online collecting. They knew the auction had to run with professionalism and precision, meeting strict AML requirements while maintaining bidder trust and engagement throughout. Above all, they needed a technology partner they could trust to support them through each step — from setup and testing to real-time support during the live sale - ensuring the event ran with professionalism and precision.

  • A fully branded white-label platform, hosted under JC Auctions’ domain to strengthen bidder trust and brand recognition.
  • A secure registration process with optional  ID verification to support AML compliance and protect high-value transactions.
  • Advanced LIVE Auction feature with integrated clerk dashboard for real-time control, timed-to-live transition and real-time video streaming that recreated the buzz of the auction room online.
  • Real-time engagement tools and adaptive bidding logic engineered to maximise participation and bidding intensity for premium lots.

Throughout the project, iRostrum provided hands-on support at every stage — from setup and training through to live-event delivery. Every question was met with timely, practical support, ensuring the JC Auctions team could focus on the sale itself.

Following the event, both teams met for a detailed post-auction debrief to review performance and user feedback. When the hammer came down on 9 October, JC Auctions did more than complete their first sale — they made an entrance. Over a hundred collectors registered, thousands of bids flew in, and two-thirds of lots found new homes. For a debut, it felt like the arrival of a new player who knew exactly what they were doing.

In a world where collecting is changing fast, the sale had a presence. The live finale had pulse and polish — bids rising in quick rhythm, the clerk deftly in control, the livestream alive with anticipation. It was proof that an online auction could still carry the electricity of the room, translated with precision and grace. 

Encouraged by the outcome, JC Auctions immediately followed with a timed event to sell remaining lots and are already planning their next large-scale live event for December 2025.
